Foggy Conditions Reported During Deadly Pedestrian Collision in San Marcos

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 12-13-25 11:41 pm
LOCATION: San Marcos Blvd / Park Place

DETAILS:

1. At around 11:41 pm reports of a pedestrian being struck came out near San Marcos Blvd And Park place.
2. On arrival deputies located a Unconscious but breathing pedestrian Stuck under a vehicle.
3. The pedestrian was freed from under the truck and a short time later CPR was initiated.
4. Fire personnel arrived on scene and pronounced the pedestrian deceased.
5. The driver of the vehicle was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
6. All westbound lanes of San Marcos Blvd. are closed from Park place to Via Vera Cruz.
7. There Was also very heavy fog in the area At the time of the crash.
