Florence-Graham: Metro Bus Crashes Into Pole Injuring Passengers

05.19.2020 | 9:25 PM | LOS ANGELES – At least six people including multiple passengers were injured when a Metro bus slammed into a pole, Tuesday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a traffic collision involving a bus near the intersection of East Florence and Maie avenues in the Florence-Graham area around 9:25 PM.

Units arriving on scene located a Metro bus that had crashed into a traffic signal pole and some scaffolding.

Firefighter paramedics transported at least six individuals from the scene including multiple passengers.

The circumstances surrounding the crash and the extent of injuries were not immediately available.

Reports from the scene indicate the bus was headed to Bell Gardens at the time of the crash.
