Fleeing Suspects Crash Into Bamboo Thicket | Ventura
01.02.2021 | 11:21 PM | VENTURA – A Ventura County Sheriff deputy attempted to stop a vehicle for traffic violation when it fled at a high rate of speed.
The vehicle lost control and went over the side into the bamboo thicket on the Shell Rd onramp to northbound SR-33
The driver and two other subjects fled on foot, however driver was immediately taken into custody by deputies.
A fourth passenger was unable to get out of the vehicle due to the bamboo.
Firefighters extricated the passenger who was taken to the hospital in unknown condition.
