Fleeing Motorcyclist Ejected And Killed in Pursuit Crash | San Diego
01.20.2022 | 1:48 AM | SAN DIEGO – A 30-year-old white male motorcyclist was traveling westbound on 3400 Orange Avenue at a high rate of speed.
Mid City officers initiated a traffic stop on the rider but he failed to yield to the officer’s emergency lights/siren.
The rider collided with the south curb at 3300 Lincoln Avenue.
He was ejected from the motorcycle and struck the metal guard rail. He was not wearing a helmet and sustained fatal injuries.
He was pronounced deceased at the scene. S.D.P.D. Traffic Division responded and is handling the investigation.
