Flames Rip Through Family Residence in Los Angeles

10.05.2020 | 2:05 AM | VERMONT-SLAUSON – A single story single family residence was destroyed by flames early Monday morning.

The blaze broke out just after 2:00 AM along the 700 Block of W. Gage Avenue.

LAFD firefighters arrived to find the home well involved in flames and immediately began an aggressive attack on the blaze.

Within 20 minutes, firefighters were able to knock down a major bulk of the fire and keep it from extending to nearby homes.

No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire remain unknown at this time.
