Flames Erupt From Roof Of Santa Fe Springs Commercial Building
Firefighters battled flames burning through the roof of a commercial building Monday evening in Santa Fe Springs.
Crews responded around 8 p.m. on September 14, 2026, to the 10600 block of Painter Avenue and arrived to find smoke and flames showing from the roof of the building.
According to preliminary information from the scene, the fire involved a portion of the roof that was undergoing construction and re-tarring work.
Firefighters raised a ladder pipe and used an elevated master stream to knock down the flames.
No injuries were immediately reported, and additional information regarding the extent of the damage or exact cause of the fire was not available at the scene.
