Five Juveniles Arrested After Stolen Car Pursuit
At approximately 9:45 p.m. on June 27, 2026, officers with the Colton Police Department pursued a reported stolen vehicle that traveled northbound on the 215 Freeway toward Palm Avenue before exiting and re-entering the southbound freeway.
The pursuit continued into San Bernardino, where the suspect vehicle exited at 5th Street and led officers from Colton Police, the California Highway Patrol, and the San Bernardino Police Department through city streets.
After circling through surface streets, the pursuit came to an end when the suspect vehicle crashed into a parked car near East 16th Street and San Gabriel Street.
Officers took five occupants into custody following the crash, including three males and two females, all believed to be juveniles.
One of the female occupants was transported by AMR to a local hospital with injuries. Authorities said the three male suspects were taken into custody by Colton Police, while it was unclear at the scene whether the second female was also arrested.
No bystanders or were injured during the incident.
The circumstances surrounding the stolen vehicle investigation and any potential charges remain under investigation.
