- The First snow of the year has arrived in the the San Bernardino Mountains, while lower elevations are getting hammered with heavy rain and are starting to see some minor flash flooding.
- The snow fall is undoubtedly the earliest we have seen snow on the mountain in many years.
- Snow levels are being recorded around 7k feet elevation.
- Levels will remain relatively high through the day but are expected to drop tonight however this will be after the main storm front passes.
- Flash flood watch is in effect as powerful rain fall is expected below 6500 ft.
- Snow plows are out staged through out highway 18 from snow valley through big bear.
- Lower elevations from running springs are experience heavy down pour of rain and are also starting to see some minor flash flooding in road ways and in front of some homes and businesses.
- Powerful winds continue to increase inĀ speed and strenghth.
- Reports of branches and trees down are slowly starting to flow in.
- Leaves and debris are all over the highways.
