Fireworks Set Off Huge House Explosion, Several Dead | Ontario

03.16.2021 | 12:28 PM | ONTARIO – Around 12:28pm a huge explosion was reported in the area of 445 Maple Street in the City of Ontario. Neighbors reported an explosion followed by fire works exploding. The house was totally destroyed. Horses behind the house were covered in soot from the fire and explosion but at this time there are no reports that any animals were injured. The explosion was felt and seen as far away as Anaheim and Riverside. Multiple people in the city of Riverside felt the explosion and initially thought it was an earthquake. The Ontario Fire Department issued an evacuation order for neighboring properties on West Francis Street and West Maple Avenue, between Fern and San Antonio.
