Firefighters Work to Protect Homes from Schabarum Fire

DETAILS:

  1. A fast moving brush fire is threatening homes on Pamela court. Acreage is reported at 5 acres with multiple water drops from copters and fixed wing aircraft. Sheriffs reportedly have one person in custody in connection to this fire. This is a second alarm brush fire still active. One firefighter is also reportedly injured.
  2. Added video shows the proximity of fire to the many horses that are housed near the top of the park. The horses were prepared for possible evacuation, though fortunately the fire’s progress was stopped before this would become necessary.
