Firefighters Search For Victims After Fiery Crash

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 6-20-23 3:14 am
LOCATION: La Cresta Rd & Shadow Mtn. Rd

DETAILS:

1. Several different fire agencies responded to a report of a vegetation fire in the canyon below the roadway.
2. Upon arrival, an SUV was found on fire.
3. Firefighters quickly put out the fire and started to search for any victims.
4. No one was found inside of the SUV, and they started to search the brush.
5. SDFD Copter 3 was brought in to search with the heat-seeking camera, but nothing has turned up.
6. La Cresta Rd is closed in both directions at this time.
