Firefighters Battle Vegetation Fire in Los Angeles

11.28.2020 | 6:49 PM | LAKE BALBOA – A fire broke out for the second time in a day in a model airplane field Saturday evening.

LAFD Firefighters responded to the 15700 Block of Burbank Blvd shortly before 7 PM Saturday evening.

Units arriving located at least one acre of heavy brush, grass and trees that were burning.

Firefighters had fought a blaze in this area earlier this afternoon.

Firefighters were able to quickly knock down the blaze, and no injuries were reported.

The cause remains under investigation.
