Firefighters Battle Three Acre Brush Fire in Santa Clarita
12.19.2020 | 12:33 AM | SANTA CLARITA – Firefighters battled a brush fire that grew to three acres in the outskirts of Santa Clarita Saturday morning.
LA County Firefighters responded to reports of a brush fire at The Old Dirt Road & Sierra Hwy just outside of Santa Clarita.
Firefighters arrived on scene to find approximately 1.5 acres of brush burning in medium fuels at a moderate rate of spread.
Crews worked quickly and were able to contain the flames to roughly 3 acres.
No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
