Firefighters Battle Massive 2 Alarm Commercial Blaze in City of Industry
11.17.2020 | 11:02 PM | INDUSTRY (CNS) – Firefighters battled a fire Wednesday morning that ripped through an industrial building in an unincorporated area near Industry and burned for about three hours.
The fire was reported about 11 p.m. Tuesday near the intersection of Valley Boulevard and Orange Avenue, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
The first firefighters to arrive on scene encountered heavy smoke and fire through the roof of the building, according to the department, which added the roof collapsed later.
The majority of flames were extinguished by about 2 a.m.
No injuries were immediately reported and the cause of the fire was under investigation.
