Firefighters Battle Fire At Mattress Store (PRE-ARRIVAL) | Los Angeles

11.28.2021 | 9:01 PM | LOS ANGELES – Authorities responded to reports of a rubbish fire near the intersection of Broadway and Slauson. The first arriving unit reported a commercial mattress shop was on fire, and requested for more units. Prior to arrival, residents could be seen using their garden hoses to battle the blaze. Firefighters battled the flames and were able to make entry and knock down the fire in approximately 15 minutes. The fire appears to have originated in a small garage behind the mattress store and spread to the store, however the exact cause is unknown. No further details are known at this time.
