Firefighter Injured During Large Commercial Fire | Houston

07.04.2022 | 11:13 PM | HOUSTON – Northwest Fire department responded to a report of a commercial fire. Firefighters arrived and located a 1 story row of commercials with smoke showing from a restaurant. Crews began an offensive attack however the fire was out of control. There was a roof collapse which forced firefighters to go defensive on the fire. One firefighter was hurt when the roof collapsed, his injuries are described as minor. Crews eventually were able to extinguish the flames. There were 4 businesses damaged during the fire. HCFMO is going to handle the investigation and determine the cause.
