Firefighter Injured Battling Brush Fire | San Bernardino

08.10.2021 | 4:00 PM | SAN BERNARDINO – Firefighters responded to reports of a vegetation fire in Waterman Canyon. First responders arrived on scene and located a brush fire with a moderate rate of spread. Additional resources including water dropping helicopters and air tankers were requested. At a point, the fire jumped Highway 18. Due to difficult terrain, the majority of the fire was battled from the air.
