DETAILS:
- HFD responded to reports of an apartment fire
- Arriving companies located a large building with smoke showing
- working fire was upgraded to a 211 around 945pm
- mayday was called and a 3rd alarm struck for a firefighter who fell through the floor inside one of the apartments
- Firefighter was rescued and evaluated by EMS, and has returned to the fire line
- Fire is still active as of 12:30am
- 18 units are impacted by the fire, and red cross has been requested
- cause and origin of the fire remains under investigation, Arson units are on location and will begin once the fire is under control
