Fire Spreads into Vegetation After Destroying House and Vehicles | Lyons Valley

08.10.2021 | 6:00 PM | JAMUL – An air conditioning unit attached to the house sparked a fire that destroyed the home, a car, a horse trailer, and outbuildings. The fire then spread into the surrounding vegetation and burned approx 1 acre. The residents were able to get out safely. Firefighters were able to stop the forward rate of spread, but the house could not be saved. 2 helicopters and 1 air tanker fought the fire from the air.
