Fire Rips Through Several Apartment Units | Ventura

11.06.2021 | 1:51 AM | VENTURA –  Ventura Police officers responded to a call of a structure fire at an apartment complex in the 1300 block of Saratoga Ave.

When officers arrived on scene, they found several two story units well-involved with residents reporting that people were trapped inside.

Officers checked and found no one inside of the burning apartments.

Ventura and Oxnard City Fire crews arrived and made an aggressive attack on the fire and had the bulk of it knocked down within 20 minutes.

At least one person was reported to have sustained burn injuries.

The cause is unknown at this time.
