Fire Reignites Second Time On Same Day, Destroys Home | Pico Rivera

02.20.2021 | 6:26 PM | PICO RIVERA – A home on the 9000 block of Balfour Street previously on fire earlier this afternoon reignited in flames this evening, prompting firefighters to return back to the scene. 911 calls came in regarding a house that re-erupted in flames after the initial house fire at 5:11 PM sent an elderly man to the hospital with minor smoke inhalation injuries. Firefighters arrived right around 8 PM to locate the home well involved in flames, and had to defensively fight the fire. It is unclear how the fire restarted, and fire officials have requested cause investigators to respond to the scene. No other injuries have been reported as of now.
