Fire Engulfs Residence on Lazard Street, Los Angeles

DETAILS:

1. LAFD responded to a report of a garage on fire
2. Crews arrived to find a one-story residence with fire showing
3. There was a white SUV in the driveway that was on fire, as well as the garage
4. As crews battled the fire, it extended into the attic
5. Once the fire got into the attic, it began to spread throughout the house
6. After roughly 30 minutes, firefighters were able to extinguish the flames
7. At one point, wires began to arc in the garage, creating a small explosion
8. No injuries have been reported at this time
9. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time
10. San Fernando PD could be seen evacuating people from neighboring homes
