Fire Destroys Home, 1 Person And 2 Dogs Dead

DETAILS:

1. A person is dead along with two dogs after a garage fire broke out Saturday morning
2. La Habra Police and LA County FD Firefighters were called to a single story home in a cul de sac
3. Arriving, they located heavy fire showing from a garage attached to a home
4.  Firefighters began attacking the blaze, which burned into part of the home, but were able to achieve knockdown within 30 minutes
5. Firefighters located one person in the garage where the fire of origin was
6. This person was declared deceased at scene
7. Two dogs also succumbed to the fire and were taken away by animal control. A third unresponsive dog was rushed to an animal hospital by unknown bystanders
8. La Habra PD detectives are arriving to take over the scene
