Fire Damages Apartment Buildings | Houston

10.30.2021 | 10:36 PM | HOUSTON – HFD responded to reports of a kitchen fire. Arriving units had heavy fire on the second floor of an apartment complex. Fire crews were able to evacuate the apartment complex. Around 12 -14 units were damaged. The second floor had fire damage while the 1st floor mainly had water damage. No injuries were reported to civilians or firefighters. Cause of the fire is under investigation. Please see SOT. District Chief talks about checking smoke detectors for the cold weather.
