Fiery Utility Truck Pursuit | Rancho Cucamonga

3.15.2021 | 12:15 AM | RANCHO CUCAMONGA – A man is in custody and a utility truck was destroyed after he kept driving on flat tires during a police pursuit Monday morning.

CHP was pursuing a stolen utility truck on the SR-71 Freeway in the Pomona area.

The suspect failed to yield and continued north to the 57 and 210 Freeways.

The pursuit ended around 12:30 A.M. on the eastbound I-210 Freeway, when the truck caught fire. The driver ran from the truck with officers on his tail, where he was quickly taken into custody.

It is unclear where the pursuit originated.
