Fiery Rollover Hit & Run Crash Sends 3 to Hospital | Torrance

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 10:06pm 3-5-23 LOCATION: 208th St & Western CITY: Torrance DETAILS: A Chevy pickup truck was making a left hand turn onto 208th St while a Volkswagen sedan was driving southbound on Western. The two vehicles collided, the Chevy truck rolled over and caught on fire. The solo occupant of the Chevy was able to escape, he was transported to the hospital and arrested on suspicion of DUI. The driver of the Volkswagen fled on foot. There were at least 3 passengers in the Volkswagen, unknown how many fled with the driver. Three patients were transported in total, one from the Chevy truck and two from the sedan. All three patients were transported in unknown condition to area hospitals.
