Fiery Fatal Crash Into Light Pole In Houston, TX

LOCATION:  9621 W Sam Houston Pkwy N
AREA/CITY:  Houston
DETAILS:

1.  HCSO and Cy Fair FD responded to reports of a crash with fire
2. Arriving companies located a white pickup which crashed into a large light pole for the beltway, with heavy fire showing
3. Firefighters started attacking the flames and then located a patient inside the truck
4. patient was pronounced deceased at scene by medics
5. All lanes of the feeder (outbound side) will be shut down for another 2 hours or less for HCSO to conduct their investigation
6. Unknown at this time what led to the crash
