Fiery Crash Leaves Two Dead After Police Attempted Stop

At approximately 10:00pm on March 28th, 2026, Harris County Sheriff’s Office deputies observed a vehicle run a red light on Spring Cypress Road near Telge Road in Houston.

A deputy attempted a traffic stop, activating lights and siren, but the vehicle accelerated at a high rate of speed, turned off its headlights, and quickly fled out of sight.
