Fiery 3 Vehicle Crash Shuts Down Freeway

DETAILS:
- Incredibly there were no fatalities after Stalled vehicle turned into a multi vehicle collision causing one vehicle to be completely incinerated.
- Just before 3:30 AM CHP received reports of a stalled vehicle in the number 2 lane with its hazards on.
- Shortly after it was reported that the vehicle was struck by another vehicle and was now on fire.
- Quickly another vehicle crashed into the other vehicle.
- Multiple reports per witnesses said they could see and hear other vehicle crashing into the blacked out already crashed vehicles.
- When fire arrived on scene, the found several vehicle scattered across the lanes of the EB 105 and on one vehicle was completely engulfed.
- One of the victims lay on the side of the road appearing to be injured and was transported for unknown injuries.
- Witnesses stated that the driver of the vehicle that was completely mangled and burned to the ground had exited the vehicle and ran away off to the side of the freeway.
- Shortly after a speeding vehicle slammed into her stalled blacked out car and burst into flames.
- Miraculously everyone appeared to survive the incident. CHP temporarily shut down EB 105 to clear the debris that lay across all lanes and while fire fighters put out the the remainder of the inferno.
