Female on Motorbike Injured In Violent Hit & Run Crash | Garden Grove

11.16.2021 | 7:33 PM | GARDEN GROVE – A female riding a motorbike was injured in a crash and the other driver fled the scene this evening in Garden Grove.

Authorities responded to reports of an injury crash in the area of 11832 West St.

First responders arrived on scene and located the motorbike and rider down, but was unable to locate the other vehicle involved.

Witnesses stated the female was unconscious after the violent crash, and then regained consciousness after several moments.

The female was transported to UCI Medical Center by Orange County firefighters for head trauma and other injuries.

The female was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, and the small scooter-type motorbike is not believed to be street legal.

The female involved lives down the street from the incident location.

The suspect vehicle is unknown at this time, however, it is believed to have front end damage.
