Female Bicyclist Fatally Struck | Oxnard

04.12.2021 | 11:54 PM | OXNARD – CHP Ventura officers received a call from a motorist that stated they had struck a bicyclist in the 3800 block of W Gonzales Rd.

Several Ventura County Sheriff deputies in the area unknowingly rolled up to the scene and began rendering aid to the bicyclist who was identified as a female.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene despite life-saving measures.

A passenger in the vehicle was transported to the hospital with unknown injuries. The driver of the vehicle the struck the victim is cooperating with police.
