FedEx Driver Accused of Drunk Driving After Crash

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 12-19-24 7:30 pm
LOCATION: Intersection of Euclid St. and Crescent Ave.
AREA/CITY: Anaheim
DETAILS:

  1. At or around 7:30 PM Thursday, units from Anaheim Police and Fire & Rescue responded to a call of a four-vehicle collision at Euclid Street and Crescent Avenue in Anaheim.
  2. Arriving responders found three cars and a FedEx box truck involved in the crash.
  3. Three people, including the driver of the box truck, were transported to local hospitals in unknown condition.
  4. Per a witness who did not want to be shown on camera, the FedEx driver was speeding and slammed into the intersection.
  5. Another witness also stated that the same driver stumbled out of the truck after the accident.
  6. A photographer on scene found empty cartons of BeatBox, a popular alcoholic beverage with 10% ABV, near the FedEx truck.
  7. The Anaheim PIO, Sgt. Matt Sutter confirmed with Onscene.tv that the FedEx driver is in custody and will be booked for suspicion of DUI once they’re cleared from the hospital.
