Father & Son Rescued After Crashing Down Canyon | San Diego

11.21.2021 | 12:38 AM | SAN DIEGO – San Diego Fire-Rescue received a call of a traffic accident at the intersection of Kika Court and Mercy Road. When firefighters arrived, they found no signs of an accident and cleared the scene shortly after. About 30 minutes later, San Diego Police received another call stating that the vehicle had plummeted over 100 feet down a canyon. Officers directed fire personnel down to the victims where they were able to climb out of the canyon on their own. Both father and son were transported to a local hospital to be evaluated.
