Father of Suspect Ends Mini Bike Pursuit

DETAILS:

1. On August 23rd, 2025, at about 1:00 AM, San Bernardino County Sheriff’s were in pursuit of a subject on a mini-bike.
2. The pursuit originated in Muscoy near State Street and Darby Street and then continued down into San Bernardino, where he took surface roads and at one point a dirt road above a flood control.
3. He then entered the 10 Freeway in Colton and then the 215 Freeway to the 210 Freeway.
4. At one point, a white vehicle overtook the pursuit and was driving next to the bike.
5. Both parties exited the 210 Freeway at State Street and turned onto Highland Avenue, where the white vehicle cut off the bike, ending the pursuit.
6. The suspect was then taken into custody, and the driver of the white vehicle was detained.
7. After further investigation, the driver of the white car was the father of the suspect.
8. He was released at the scene and took custody of the mini-bike.
9. No other information was provided at the scene.
