Father Leaves His 5 Month Old & Family Behind After Possible Fatal Crash

A father took of on foot after crashing him and his family into a signal pole at the intersection near train tracks. He left his wife, a 7 year old and a 5 month old at the scene. Per scanner traffic the 5 month old was in very critical condition, the said possibly “K” injury. The baby was transported to Harbor UCLA with mom and sibling in a LAFD ambulance. LAPD is actively searching for the dad as they investigate. A pool of blood can be seen next to the car on the passenger side. Unclear if the baby was in a car seat.
