Fatal Wrong-Way Driver Crash | Houston

10.09.2021 | 9:43 PM | HOUSTON – HCSO responded to reports of a crash involving multiple vehicles.

One innocent driver was pronounced deceased at the scene.

It was reported a Dodge Journey was traveling northbound in southbound lanes on 249.

The Dodge Journey struck the front end of a Toyota Matrix.

A Toyota Tundra attempted to avoid the Journey and struck the Toyota Matrix.

The Journey continued in the southbound lanes and struck a Honda Accord.

The occupants of the Honda Accord and Toyota Tundra did not report any injuries.

The at fault driver in the Journey was transported by ambulance with serious bodily injuries.

The driver of the Toyota Matrix was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Toxicology reports are pending on the at fault driver.
