Fatal, Vehicle Vs Pedestrian Snarls Traffic On The 91

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 1-19-24, 8:54 p.m.
LOCATION: EB SR 91 and Adams St
AREA/CITY: Riverside
DETAILS:

1.  Riverside Fire Department and California Highway Patrol, Riverside Office , responded to reports of a man down on the right hand shoulder of the freeway.
2. When units arrived on scene, they found one person suffering from major trauma.
3. Paramedics pronounced that person deceased on scene.
4. They also located a semi truck who apparently hit the victim.
5. The semi driver was cooperating with officers.
6. The fatality snarled traffic further as there is also an overturned semi a few miles further north.
