Fatal Vehicle vs. Pedestrian on Halloween

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 10-31-25, 8:35 p.m.
LOCATION: Gunn Ave & Trumball St.

*NOTE: According to CHP CAD, LA AREA, see Incident #2232 the collision went fatal. No other details available.

1. LA County Fire Department and CHP, Santa Fe Springs responded to a reported vehicle vs. a pedestrian.
2. When units arrived, they found a pedestrian down in the road.
3. The vehicle that hit the pedestrian remained and was cooperating with police.
4. According to a witness, the pedestrian was crossing the street with another person in the crosswalk when the car hit them, throwing the victim about 75 feet.
5. According to the witness, the victim is a teenager but that has not been confirmed.
6. The victim was transported to a local area hospital with CPR in progress.
