- According to Lt. Frank. Gutierrez, with Santa Ana Police Department, Santa Ana Police Department and Orange County Fire Authority responded to a reported vehicle vs a pedestrian.
- When units arrived they found one person down in the roadway, and no vehicle in the area..
- That person was pronounced deceased at the scene by paramedics
- Northbound and and southbound lanes in the area are shut down for several hours while police investigate.
- There is some debris from a vehicle that was left behind at the scene.
