DETAILS:

1. First responders were dispatched to a vehicle vs pedestrian.
2. Arriving units found 1 victim laying in the street.
3. Firefighters performed life saving measure but ultimately declared the victim deceased on scene.
4. The vehicle that struck the victim may have fled the scene.
5. LAPD South Traffic is handling the investigation.
