- A man driving a red sedan on the exit ramp struck a pedestrian, who he claimed was running across the lane.
- According to the driver, the pedestrian was thrown into the lane on the service road and then struck again by a white-colored vehicle, possibly an SUV, which left the scene.
- At this time, no video evidence is available, and the driver of the red sedan is the only person who saw the accident transpire.
- There is limited road evidence due to resurfacing work on the road.
- Police expect to be on the scene for about an hour until the medical examiner arrives, who will examine the injuries to help determine what happened.
- The Hit and Run Division will be following up on the case to look for video evidence and other information.
