Fatal Vehicle vs. Motorcycle Crash

HPD VCD units are investigating a fatal crash involving two vehicles and a motorcycle.
The male rider was pronounced deceased at the scene.
It was reported a Toyota sedan was exiting a shopping center driveway and attempted to cross westbound lane to make a left turn in the left lane.
At the same time a motorcycle was traveling westbound and made contact with the front driver side of the Toyota.
The impact caused the motorcycle rider to cross over into oncoming lanes.
A Honda sedan traveling eastbound saw the motorcycle and attempted to swerve but hit the motorcycle head on.
The driver of the Honda was checked out at the scene by HFD but will go to the hospital on his own.
The driver of the Toyota remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators.
She was not injured.
Investigators don’t believe she was intoxicated.
Investigation is on going.
