Fatal Two Car Traffic Collision, Driver Flees | Corona

08.15.2022 | 2:25 AM | CORONA – California Highway Patrol, Riverside and Corona Fire Department responded to a 2 car traffic collision. Per a reporting party, there were 2 vehicles, one a Dodge truck, the other a Lexus, both wrecked, one off the side with its air bags deployed and the passenger unresponsive in the truck but no one else on scene. CHP arrived and did a search with the assistance of Corona Fire Department and Chino Police Department Air support. Neither driver could be located and are suspected to have fled from the collision. At this time it DOES appear that alcohol was a factor as there were beer bottles outside of the Lexus. No more details are available at this time.
