Surprise Police officers responded to a 911 call reporting a subject with a firearm at the Taco Bell near Waddell Road and Loop 303.
Officers arrived to find a male with multiple gunshot wounds.
Officers rendered aid until firefighters arrived on the scene.
Firefighters pronounced the individual deceased on the scene.
Surprise Police detectives and forensics units are on scene investigating the incident.
Details surrounding what led up to the shooting and if the deceased individual is the suspect from the original 911 call will not be released until later in the investigation.
