Fatal Semi Vs Landscaping Truck, Semi Driver Ran Over Multiple Times | Yorba Linda

03.31.2022 | 12:49 AM | YORBA LINDA – California Highway Patrol, Santa Ana responded to a 2 vehicle traffic collision involving a semi and a large landscape wood chipper truck. At this time it appears that the work truck/wood chipper was broke down on the side of the road when the semi slammed into the rear of the truck. CHP had multiple callers indicating that the semi was fully engulfed and that the semi driver was seen laying on the freeway. The driver of the semi was ejected and ran over multiple times, the driver was pronounced deceased on scene by paramedics. At this time all lanes are closed except one lane where CHP is diverting traffic. There is debris scattered for about 40 yards all over the road from the accident and the landscape truck.
