Fatal Rollover Crash Leaves Three Trapped On 91 Freeway

One person was killed following a rollover crash Wednesday night on the 91 Freeway in Anaheim, where witnesses reported a semi-truck may have left the scene.

At approximately 9:26 p.m. on August 5, 2026, emergency crews responded to the eastbound 91 Freeway near Euclid Street following reports of an overturned vehicle with three people trapped inside.

According to preliminary reports from callers, a semi-truck that had been stopped along the right shoulder began pulling back onto the freeway, allegedly contributing to the collision. The semi reportedly continued from the scene. That account has not yet been confirmed by investigators.

Firefighters requested a hard closure of the freeway while crews worked to extricate the occupants from the overturned vehicle.

It appeared three victims were removed from the wreckage, with at least one person transported to a local hospital.

One person was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The circumstances surrounding the crash, including the possible involvement of the semi-truck, remain under investigation.
