Fatal Pursuit Crash

DETAILS:
- Anaheim Police Department was engaged in a pursuit when for unknown reasons, the car they were pursuing crashed, head on into a power pole.
- Anaheim Fire Department transported the driver to a local area hospital in an unknown condition, suffering from unknown injuries.
- At this time we have confirmed that one person has been pronounced deceased at the scene by paramedics, but we have not confirmed if it was a passenger or if it may have been a bicyclist or pedestrian.
- There is a bike located near the vehicle.
- The pursuit started at East Street and La Palma Ave and ended at 1219 North State College Blvd, Arbor Park Community Apartments.
- It is unknown why police were pursing the vehicle.
