Fatal Pedestrian Collision on 210 Freeway in Los Angeles

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 1-13-24 | 5:07 a.m.
LOCATION: 210 W & Roxford
AREA/CITY: Los Angeles
DETAILS:

1. LAFD & CHP responded to a report of a vehicle vs ped on the freeway
2. Firefighters arrived to find one person deceased, laying in the fast lane of the 210
3. Firefighters also located a Silver sedan which struck the pedestrian
4. The sedan has at least 4 occupants
5. Firefighters evaluated those occupants on scene, no injuries were found
6. CHP currently has the two left lanes closed
7. Caltrans has been requested to assist with the closure
8. CHP Newhall is handling the investigation
