Fatal Motorcycle Hit and Run

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: Wednesday 7-31-24 / Approx. 11:46 pm
LOCATION: Anaheim St & Cherry Ave
AREA/CITY: Long Beach, CA
DETAILS:

1. LBPD responded to a (hit & run) collision involving a vehicle vs a motorcycle.
2. Upon arrival, the suspect vehicle fled before officers arrival, LBPD located one motorcycle crashed into a pharmacy store front with the motorcycle rider deceased on scene and pronounced DOA by LBFD.
3. LBPD is searching for the suspect’s vehicle and any cameras or witnesses available to take the hit-and-run suspect into custody.
4. LBPD homicide detectives are on the scene investigating.
