Fatal Hit And Run Investigation In San Mateo CA

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 2-5-25 9:02 PM
LOCATION: Fashion Island Boulevard and South Norfolk Street
AREA/CITY: San Mateo
DETAILS:

  1. Police, Fire and EMS responded to reports of a subject lying in the bike lane.
  2. Upon arrival, officers located a subject with no pulse, and bleeding from the head. Officers began CPR.
  3. Officers determined that a hit and run collision had occurred, and began canvassing the area for surveillance footage.
  4. The victim was pronounced deceased at scene by paramedics.
  5. Police are continuing to investigate. Awaiting further information from San Mateo PD PIO.
  6. The suspect is still outstanding
